SNEAK PREVIEW – LOUISE + SIMON – [WEDDING, LEICESTER]

Where do I start with this one?!!

I always find it really tough to choose just a few images for a sneak preview, but I find it even harder when the wedding I’m previewing was AWESOME!!! As weddings go, this one pretty much had it all; a stunning venue in the heart of Leicester, a string quartet, table tennis, a vintage motor that would make prince charles go weak at the knees, not to mention a cracking double decker bus for the guests!! Then it was back to an amazing reception on a farm for some nibbles that were to die for, and something that most brides this year will be mightily jealous of….. bucket loads of sunshine!! Oh, and the couple were pretty special, too!! Did I mention the ice cream van?!!

Congratulations to Louise and Simon, I know from skimming through the images quickly last night that you had an amazing and very special day, enjoy the American tour and I’ll look forward to showing you the full set of images on your return. In the meantime, here’s the preview…

And, to top it all off, Liam and Noel popped in to say hello…..

My Week in Pictures – [Week One]

Ok, so I’ve decided that rather than taking tons of pictures every week and leaving them sat on my computer at home, that I’d start a weekly blog post on my site so that you can all see what we’ve been upto, if you like?! I’ve also rather aptly decided to call this blog post; “My Week in Pictures”, needless to say, it didn’t take me long to come up with that title!

As this is my first post, I thought I’d give you a little insight into what you can expect and won’t expect to see on “My Week in Pictures” –  you will see lots of pictures of Betsy and Dolly, our baby and dog (respectively!), you won’t see many pictures of Jemma (fiancee, doesn’t like having her picture taken!), you probably won’t see too many of me (fiancee doesn’t often take the camera, I don’t trust her with it!), there will be lots of pictures in and around Jack Rabbits (a cafe in derby where Jemma is almost part of the furniture, she spends as much time in there as she does at home!!), other than all of that, there will be old cars, signs, broken buildings, food, bikes and the occasional bit of wildlife. Here’s week one:

Louise + Simon – [Engagement Shoot, Leicester]

There’s no better way to prepare for a couples wedding than an engagement shoot. Meeting Louise and Simon last night after almost a full year of emails going back and forth, has really got me excited about their wedding in 2 weeks time. Usually during such a shoot, the bride is often the one to “take the lead”, pulling their partner around rather unwillingly, making them feel uncomfortable and slightly awkward…. not in this case!! Simon was more than happy to throw some moves down when the camera was aimed in his direction, and the tactic of stressing to Louise that she would be the centre of attention, worked a treat!! Well done Simon. So, here’s Louise and Simon, who will be married in 2 weeks, and Murphy!!!

SNEAK PREVIEW – KATY + DUNCAN [WEDDING, OSMASTON]

Round 2 at Osmaston Park this weekend, and what a round it was!! Here’s a little teaser of Katy and Duncan, who married at the stunning Brailsford church on Saturday 30th June, congratulations to the both of you. The wedding was stunning, the weather was pretty darn good (apart from during the best mans speech!), and that 5 tier, wheels of cheese wedding cake was something else!!
