It’s only really been over the past 3 years that I’ve discovered Italy as a wedding photographer. I’ve always wanted to visit having heard such positive compliments about its food, wine and landscape, 3 pretty key ingredients for any willing traveler!! But I’m pleased to report that those raves I’d heard from friends and family who have visited Italy in the past, well they weren’t wrong!! It truly is a beautiful country, and a country that knows how to feed you!! 😉 I’ve now been to Italy for a few weddings, in particular the mountains of South Tyrol, and the incredibly stunning region of Tuscany. There’s something about the light in Italy, I’m not sure how they do it, but it’s just magical. The appeal of getting married out there is very easy to see, whether it’s Tuscany or Sicily, it’s a country that excites me enormously. I’ve still yet to photograph a wedding on the Amalfi coast, I’ve unfortunately had to turn a few down for already being booked, but I’m sure my time will come! But so far, the weddings in Italy that I have had the pleasure of photographing have been nothing short of remarkable. If you’ve never visited the country, I highly encourage you to change that.
If you’d like to see some recent weddings I’ve photographed in Italy, you can check out Daniela and Carlo, who got married at the stunning Villa Catureglio in the province of Lucca in Tuscany. Ekaterina and Marc, one the of warmest couples you could wish to meet, who spent a weekend away in Sicily at the stunning San Domenico Palace in Taormina. And then there’s Hayley and Ben who opted for a winter wedding in the hills of South Tyrol at the incredible venue of Hotel Miramonti.
For Italy weddings I always travel 2 days before the day of the ceremony, this allows for any travel disruptions, but also gives me time to scout the location and meet my clients on location the day before. To find out more about my rates for weddings in Italy, please visit my destination weddings page.
Check my availability and request an eBrochure – I limit my diary to 25 weddings per year, this allows me to be fresh for each and every wedding I shoot, and to give 100% to each of my couples. If I’m already booked or unable to shoot on your date, I will be happy to make some recommendations. I do receive between 200-300 enquiries per year, so if you are interested in working with me, please fill out the contact form. And you can also follow me on Insta, Facebook, or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
If you haven’t heard back from me within 48 working hours, just pick up the phone and let’s chat!
